( Assam, Manipur, Mizoram etc.), Srilanka , Bhutan , Burma , Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Combodia, Philippines, Indonesia. Agarwood trees the Aquilaria species and are known for their unique resinous heartwood, which develops in response to certain fungal attacks.
